Remigio Del Grosso (screenwriter)

Remigio Del Grosso (born February 26, 1912 in Colle Sannita , † July 18, 1984 in Riccione ) was an Italian screenwriter and documentary filmmaker .

Life

Del Grosso, grandson of the astronomer of the same name , has worked as a scenarioist, screenwriter and occasional assistant director for film since 1940. His first and last contribution (from 1974) were for director Domenico Paolella , although most of his contributions, which are often based in historical and adventure films, were for Giorgio Ferroni . From 1959 Del Grosso also worked as a director of documentaries, including the 1963 Due grande nomi about the painters Michelangelo and Raffael . He had released his only feature film as a director two years earlier.
