René Lucien Joseph Mazzia (born April 20, 1938 in Le Theil , † July 16, 2012 in Le Mans ) was a French racing car driver .

Career in motorsport

René Mazzia was active as a GT driver in the early 1970s and competed three times in the Le Mans 24-hour race . In 1969 and 1970 he did not make it into the final ranking. In 1971 he drove together with Jürgen Barth - who made his Le Mans debut - to eighth place in the overall standings.
