Renat Abdulraschitowitsch Mamaschew ( Russian Ренат Абдулрашитович Мамашев ; * 31 March 1983 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player , who for many years in the Continental Hockey League , among others, HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk , Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod and HC Sochi , was active.
Career
Renat Mamaschew began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Krylya Sowetow Moscow , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League in the 1999/2000 season . In the following season, the defender ran for the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Canadian Junior Western Hockey League . He then returned to his hometown and made his debut for the professional team of HK CSKA Moscow in the Vysschaja Liga , the second Russian division , in the 2001/02 season . With his team he rose straight away in the super league , but spent most of the season with the second team of CSKA in the Pervaya League.
From 2003 to 2006 Mamaschew was under contract with his hometown club Krylja Sowetow Moscow in the Wysschaya League. With his team he rose in the 2005/06 season in the super league, in which he played in the following year and a half for the top club HK Dynamo Moscow . During the 2007/08 season , the left-shooter from Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod was committed. For this he started from the 2008/09 season in the newly founded Continental Hockey League . In his rookie year in the KHL, he scored eight goals in a total of 54 games and provided nine assists. He also began the following season at Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, but already moved to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk within the KHL in November 2009 , for which he was on the ice until 2011.
In May 2011, Mamaschew moved within the KHL to HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk . There he could not fully assert himself, so he returned to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk in December 2011 after two goals and four assists in 16 games. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season he was briefly under contract with HK tractor Chelyabinsk , but returned to Neftechimik after a few games. In the late summer of 2014 he completed the training camps of the New Jersey Devils and Albany Devils , but could not recommend himself for a contract. Therefore, he returned to Russia in October 2014 and was signed by HK Sibir Novosibirsk .
Further career stations were HK Sochi , briefly Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod and most recently Admiral Vladivostok . He ended his career in August 2018.
International
For Russia Mamaschew took part in the World U-17 Hockey Challenge 2000 , in which he and his team won the gold medal.
