Renate Gradistanac

Renate Gradistanac b. Höffler (born June 27, 1950 in Backnang ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

As the only child of an engineer, she attended five schools in several federal states in twelve years. After completing secondary school , Renate Gradistanac attended the commercial college in Böblingen and then completed training as a gymnastics teacher at the Kiedaisch vocational school in Stuttgart , where she subsequently also worked as an assistant. She also worked as a gymnastics teacher at the elementary and secondary school in Nagold .

Renate Gradistanac is married to the Serbian-born artist Georg Gradistanac and has two daughters.

Political party

From 1989 to 2009 she was a member of the SPD and from 1991 to 2001 she was deputy chairwoman of the SPD district association in Calw .

Since 1993 Renate Gradistanac has been deputy chairwoman of the Calw district association of the Working Group of Social Democratic Women (ASF). From 1995 to 2003 she was also a member of the ARSP regional executive committee in Baden-Württemberg . She left the party after the 2009 Bundestag election.

MPs

From 1989 to 1999 Renate Gradistanac was a member of the city council of Wildberg and from 1994 to 2002 in the district council of the district of Calw.

From 1998 to 2009 she was a member of the German Bundestag . Since January 2005 she has been deputy spokesperson for the tourism working group and since November 2005 also for the working group on family, senior citizens, women and youth of the SPD parliamentary group .

Renate Gradistanac has always entered the Bundestag via the Baden-Württemberg state list.
