Renato Chiantoni

Renato Chiantoni (born April 19, 1906 in Brescia , † December 12, 1979 in Rome ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Chiantoni, son of the actor Amadeo , played in various acting companies and made his screen debut in Gennaro Righelli's Gatta ci co va in 1937 and from then on was seen in over a hundred mostly comical or mildly dramatic roles, occasionally also in TV series . However, his roles were often equipped with the Kauzigkeit humorous minor characters, like his corpse graves in the spaghetti western El Cisco . After the Second World War, Chiantoni also worked as a production manager and director of short films. In addition, he was professionally involved. Chiantoni was also booked as a radio speaker and dubbing agent. A pseudonym of Chiantoni was Gay Gallwey . In the 1950s Chiantoni had returned to the theater and played with Roberto Villa and Carlo Tamberlani .
