Rendufe is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Rendufe belongs to the Guimarães district in the Braga district . The community had an area of 5.3 km² and 716 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). The community is rural.
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Rendufe and Atães were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Atães e Rendufe .
