Renold Quade

Renold Quade (* 1961 in Düren ) is a German conductor and trombonist.

biography

Renold Quade attended high school at the Wirteltor in Düren and received his first musical training at the music school in Düren . After graduating from high school, he studied with Branimir Slokar and Jiggs Whigham at the Cologne University of Music and with Hans-Walter Berg at the Trossingen Federal Academy .

Quade is active as a division manager at the music school in Düren. In addition to his administrative activities, he gives lessons and directs several ensembles, including the symphonic wind orchestra of the Düren music school. He has been the conductor of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Wind Orchestra since 1995 , with whom he went on a concert tour through the People's Republic of China in 2002.

Quade also works as a seminar leader for conducting training at the Landesmusikakademie NRW in Heek-Nienborg. He is a judge at national and international music competitions. He was a member of the jury for Jugend musiziert and made decisions in the context of the German orchestra competition.

Renold Quade is stylistically stuck in the field of big band music. He toured with the big band Take-Off, which he founded, and produced the show "Musical Highlights", among other things.

Quade is the founder and director of the brass ensemble Eifelbech and the trombone quartet of the Düren music school. He has published articles in professional journals and studies on orchestral conducting.

He lives in Heimbach ( Blens district ) in the Düren district .
