Rensis Likert
Rensis Likert (born August 5, 1903 in Cheyenne , Wyoming, † September 3, 1981 in Ann Arbor , Michigan) was an American social researcher.
Life
Likert graduated from the University of Michigan and Columbia University . He is the founder of the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. In 1960 he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences .
The linking pin model and the Likert scale named after him come from him .
