Rentrée (French for “return”, “back to school”) refers to the period in France from the end of August to the beginning of September , when the grandes vacances , ie. H. the long school holidays from July to August come to an end and the new school year begins. The Rentrée in France is a top social event with special political , economic and cultural activities .
