Renzo Rubino (* 17th March 1988 in Martina Franca , Apulia , as Oronzo Rubino ) is an Italian pop singer .

Life

Rubino began his musical career in nightclubs and pubs, then took part in various national competitions, including Musicultura 2011, where he was chosen among the eight finalists. His first album was Farfavole . Having competition Area Sanremo had won, he took in 2013 with the song Il Postino (amami uomo) that a homosexual treated love story at the Sanremo Festival and won the critics' award in the Newcomer category. The album Poppins followed .

The following year Rubino again took part in the Sanremo Festival, this time in the main category. With the song Ora he came third in the final. He then released the album Secondo Rubino . After a long break, he returned in 2017 with Il gelato dopo il mare ; his participation in the Sanremo Festival 2018 was also announced. There he reached 13th place with Custodire .
