Reserl Sem (born November 30, 1953 in Tann as Reserl Fürstberger ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ) and former member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 2003 to 2018 for the Rottal-Inn district .

She is Roman Catholic , married to Erich Sem and the mother of two grown daughters.

education and profession

In 1975 she completed her training as a state-approved educator and worked at a day care center in Munich until 1979 . After a family break, she worked as an educator at the Johannes Still School in Eggenfelden from 1996-2003 .

MPs

Since 2003 Reserl Sem has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for the constituency of Rottal-Inn ( constituency of Lower Bavaria ). At that time she received 65.9% of the votes, in 2008 she was re-elected with 49.2%. In 2013 she again won the direct mandate in the constituency with 59.1%.

After moving into the Bavarian State Parliament, Sem became a member of the Committee for Social Affairs, Family and Work. From April 2011 to 2013 she was deputy chairwoman of the CSU parliamentary group .

In November 2016, she declared that she no longer wanted to run for the new state parliament .

Party offices

Reserl Sem has been a member of the CSU since 1988 and was active there in many board positions. She has been a district councilor since 1990 and was CSU district chairman in the Rottal-Inn district from 2001 to 2017. From 2009 to 2017 she was also district chairwoman of the CSU.

Reserl Sem is also active in the associations and working groups of the Union. B. from 2009 to 2015 district chairwoman of the Frauen Union Niederbayern.
