Responder
The term responder was taken from the English language and means something like "the responder".
- In radar and navigation technology this term is used e.g. B. used for a response beacon , a stationary tracking transmitter that automatically sends a response code to a request.
- In air traffic control, the term is also used within the word transponder : an artificial word that combines the terms transmitter and responder. But here it denotes a moving object.
- There are also e-mail responders which, based on certain key words selected from incoming e-mails, automatically create and send reply e-mails with text modules that match these key words.
- In medicine , a responder is a test person or patient who starts a certain procedure (e.g. a certain drug , a certain operation ) as expected.
