The Resurrection River is a 35 km long river on the Kenai Peninsula in southern Alaska .
It rises between Upper Russian Lake and Cooper Lake in the Kenai Mountains , flows in a southeastern direction and flows directly northeast of Seward into Resurrection Bay , a bay in the Gulf of Alaska .
Most of the route is in Kenai Fjords National Park . The Exit Glacier Road , the access to the Exit Glacier , runs parallel to the lower reaches of the Resurrection River.
