Reto Niedermann

Reto Niedermann (born March 5, 1981 ) is a former Swiss rower and health scientist .

Rowers

He covered his first meters in a rowing boat in 1993 on Lake Zurich under the flag of the Seeclub Richterswil . Later he moved to the Seeclubs Wädenswil . His greatest successes are winning the Swiss championship title in the skiff in 2004 and participating in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens as a substitute for the Swiss four-four . He was also runner-up in Switzerland in the skiff and double sculls in 2005 , and between 2002 and 2007 he took part in eleven regattas of the Rowing World Cup. After the 2007 season, Niedermann ended his career.

Niedermann's competition weight was around 84 kg and he was 1.91 m tall.

Health scientist

Niedermann received his doctorate from ETH Zurich in 2012 . He has worked for a Swiss retail group since 2017.
