Rexhep Mitrovica (other name variant: Rexhep Bey Peja ; * around 1887 in Kosovska Mitrovica ; † May 21 (or possibly May 25, 1967 in Istanbul , Turkey ) was an Albanian politician.

Born into a large landowning family in what is now Kosovo , he studied in Istanbul. In 1912 he took part in the Albanian uprising in Kosovo. He was a member of the Albanian National Assembly, which met in Valona on November 28, 1912 and proclaimed Albania's independence . In 1921 he and Bedri Bej Pejani wrote a memorandum to the Western Powers against the Albanian policy of the newly created Kingdom of Yugoslavia. In the Albanian government under Ahmet Zogu , he was Minister of Education from 1923 until he was arrested in 1926 for his involvement in a conspiracy against him. He was pardoned in 1927.

He is said to have been close to the Balli Kombëtar and was chairman of the Prizren Second League in 1943 and became Prime Minister of the new Albanian government on November 5 of that year. This was elected by a national assembly, on the composition of which the German occupation administration had a decisive influence. In June 1944 he resigned for health reasons. He later lived in Istanbul again, where he was the leader of an emigrant group.
