Rezan Corlu

Rezan Corlu (born August 7, 1997 in Glostrup ) is a Danish football player . He is under contract with Brøndby IF and is a former Danish junior international.

Career

Born and raised in Denmark to Kurdish parents, Corlu joined the Brøndby IF youth academy as a child . He played his first game for the professional team on July 2, 2017 in a 9-0 win in the first leg of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League . On July 26, 2015, Corlu made his professional debut in a 2-1 draw on the second match day of the 2015/16 Superliga season against Odense BK . In the following years Corlu was not used due to a torn cruciate ligament. Brøndby IF finished fourth in the league table at the end of the season. In the 2016/17 season , Corlu played two games in qualifying for the Europa League and was used in as many games in the Danish cup competition. He was also used in regular league games and - after taking second place - to three games in the championship round.

In August 2017 Corlu moved to Serie A for AS Roma . After he had not been able to prevail against the Romans - he was only used in the Campionato Primavera - he returned a year later to Denmark on loan to the second division team Lyngby BK . In the 2018/19 season Corlu made 19 appearances and three goals and rose with the team in the super league .

For the 2019/20 season he finally left AS Roma and returned to his youth club Brøndby IF. He signed a three-year contract.

National team

Since his debut on October 2, 2012 for the Danish U-16 national team in the test match in Lhota / Kladno against the Czech Republic, he has made a total of 37 appearances for Danish junior national teams .
