Ricardo Alarcón (born January 12, 1914 in Buenos Aires , † unknown) was an Argentine football player on the position of a striker .

career

Alarcón began his career at Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro , with whom he won the Argentina de Football League in 1933 and the Copa de Honor in 1936.

In 1939 he moved to the Boca Juniors , with whom he won the Argentine football championship in 1940 . Alarcón was remembered at the Boca Juniors, however, with another record that he set twice. In Bombonera , Boca's legendary home ground , which opened in 1940, Alarcón was the very first goalscorer in Boca's legendary home ground in the opening game against his former club San Lorenzo (2-0) on May 25, 1940. While this was only an unofficial game, Alarcón scored a week later on June 2, 1940 against Newell's Old Boys (also 2-0) the first competitive goal in the new stadium.

After three years at Boca Juniors, Alarcón moved to Club Atlético Platense in early 1942 and in 1944 to the newly founded Puebla FC , with whom he won the Mexican Cup in 1945 .
