Ricardo Mauricio Clarke Hamilton (born September 27, 1992 in Panama City ) is a Panamanian football player .

Career

Clarke has been part of the Panamanian first division club Sporting San Miguelito since 2011 . In September 2012, New Zealand A-League participant Wellington Phoenix signed on loan . Clarke was brought into the team to replace the Spaniard Dani Sánchez , who was injured in the knee ; he was also supported by Sánchez in overcoming the language barrier. With the move, Clarke succeeded his Sporting teammate Yairo Yau , who had signed on with league rivals Sydney FC a few weeks earlier . Clarke and Yau made their debuts in the A-League by substitution at the start of the season at the clash between Wellington and Sydney (final score 2: 1). With the recovery of Sánchez, Clarke's affiliation with Wellington Phoenix ended at the beginning of December 2012. With San Miguelito, Clarke subsequently won the 2013 Clausura of the Liga Panameña de Fútbol , in the 4-1 final win against San Francisco FC he scored the 1-0- Leadership hit. In May 2013 he was awarded the "Premio Rommel Fernández" by the Panamanian trade press as the best player active in Germany.

In August 2013, Clarke moved to reigning Venezuelan champions Zamora FC on loan for a year , with another compatriot under contract with Luis Ovalle . He is supposed to close the gap in the storm created by the departure of the Panamanian national player Gabriel Torres . After six league games and one goal, he was signed by the club and is still playing for the Venezuelan first division team today (as of June 2016). On 17 February 2016 he was in a friendly match against El Salvador be A-national team debut for his country , as he Hernán Darío Gómez played from the start and from the 68th minute through Carlos Small was replaced.
