Richard-Wagner-Strasse 13 (Munich)
The Richard-Wagner-Straße 13 building is a tenement building in the Maxvorstadt district of the Bavarian capital, Munich . It is included in the Bavarian Monument List as an individual monument and is part of the Richard-Wagner-Straße ensemble .
history
The house was built in the course of the planned development of the street for the merchant Georg Schuster according to plans by the architect Fritz Seidlmair in 1905/06. Previously there were workshops and sheds on the property.
After destruction in the Second World War , the third floor and the roof structure were renewed. The neo-renaissance facade was smoothed and simplified during later renovations. In the bay window , a stuccoed figural frieze has been preserved in the lintel area, which is supported by fluted pilasters .
The installation of garages and the modern single windows have changed the overall impression significantly.
