Residential building

The residential building Richard-Wagner-Straße 14 is in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ) in the Dahl district .

The building was built in 1913. It was entered under no. R 035 on January 26, 1989 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

location

House No. 14 was built in 1912 and, together with neighboring house No. 12 and corner house No. 18, is part of the remainder of the original development on the northern section of Richard-Wagner-Straße.

architecture

As with the neighboring building No. 12, it is an unusually designed facade . Particularly noticeable is the protruding, bent roof of the dazzling gable and the bay window that lies “like a swallow's nest” under the top of the gable . This is supported by the spreading wings of a bird of prey. The house is three-story and has a converted attic .

Since the building is a relatively unusual individual structure in Mönchengladbach, it is in the public interest to be protected.
