Richard Becker (journalist)
Richard Becker (born August 25, 1926 in Stuttgart ) is a German journalist , editor and director .
Becker was a journalist and federal secretary of the German trade union federation, among other things for the trade union monthly issues . He had been on the Broadcasting Council since 1972 and was a member of the Deutschlandfunk program committee . Becker took over the position of artistic director at Deutschlandfunk on April 1, 1976 , as the successor to Reinhard Appel , which he held until 1988.
