Richard John Dalley (born August 2, 1957 in Detroit , Michigan ) is a retired American figure skater .
Dalley competed in ice dancing with Carol Fox . They could not win a championship title in their career, but five times national runner-up (1978, 1979, 1981, 1982, 1984) and twice third (1980, 1983). They also took part in five world figure skating championships between 1978 and 1984 . Her best result was fifth in 1984 . Dalley and Fox also landed fifth in the ice dance competition at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo .
Dalley studied at Wayne State University in Detroit , Michigan.
