Carol Jean Fox (born July 11, 1956 in Ypsilanti , Michigan ) is a former American figure skater .
Fox competed in ice dancing with Richard Dalley . They could not win a championship title in their career, but five times national runner-up (1978, 1979, 1981, 1982, 1984) and twice third (1980, 1983). They also took part in five world figure skating championships between 1978 and 1984 . Her best result was fifth in 1984 . Fox and Dalley also landed fifth in the ice dance competition at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo .
Fox graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit , Michigan.
