Richard Eyer
Richard Eyer (born May 6, 1945 in Santa Monica , California ) is an American actor .
Life
Richard Eyer, like his younger brother Robert Eyer, was brought up by his mother to take part in talent competitions at a young age, so that he quickly got attention and was hired for commercials and smaller roles. He made his debut in 1952 in the low-budget film Invasion Against USA, directed by Alfred E. Green , alongside Gerald Mohr and Peggie Castle . Until the death of his agent Milton Rossner, Eyer worked regularly in almost 50 cinema and television productions. His last major role was that of Davey Kane in the television series Stagecoach West , which he played in 38 episodes from 1960 to 1961. After that he was only seen sporadically in isolated episodes of television series. His last appearance was in 1967 on the television series Combat! .
After his acting career, he worked as a primary school teacher in Bishop , California and owned a business that built tennis courts. He was married to Laurie Lynn Seabern from September 10, 1970 to December 13, 1983. Together they have three children, a daughter and two twin sons.
