Richard felt

Richard Filz (* 1967 in Wiener Neustadt ) is an Austrian composer, musician, drummer, music teacher and author.

Life

Richard Filz studied Drum Set & Latin Percussion at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Fritz Ozmec and at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna with Walter Grassmann and graduated with distinction in jazz drums in 1991. In 2008 he completed his master's degree in jazz drums at the Vienna Conservatory with a Master of Arts degree . From 1997 Filz has been teaching at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory of the Province of Burgenland and has been teaching at the music universities in Vienna, Graz and Salzburg. In 2012 he is doing his doctorate at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with rhythm coaching - aspects, methods, comparison.
