Richard Belter

Richard Gürteler (* 23. June 1936 in Glonn ; † 22. October 2000 ) was a German politician of the CSU .

Life

After attending primary school, Gürteler learned the bakery trade and then worked as a journeyman. In 1958 he passed the master craftsman's examination and in 1962 took over a bakery in Glonn , which was previously run by his grandparents. Since 1971 he was head master of the Ebersberg baker's guild and member of the board of the Upper Bavaria Chamber of Crafts .

Gürteler joined the CSU in 1962. From 1963 to 1967 he was district chairman of the Junge Union and from 1967 to 1993 district chairman of the CSU district association Ebersberg. From 1966 he was a member of the district council and the district committee Ebersberg . From 1972 to 1984 he was chairman of the CSU district parliamentary group. From 1966 to 1984 he was a member of the market council in Glonn. From 1967 to 1993 he was also district chairman of the CSU. Between 1971 and 1975 he was the second mayor of the Glonn market.

He was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 1974 to 1994. From 1984 to 1992 he was also the regional chairman of the Mittelstand working group (now MIT ) and from 1993 he was honorary chairman of the CSU district association Ebersberg.

Gürteler was a bearer of the Bavarian Order of Merit .
