Richard Hoisl

Richard Hoisl (born April 9, 1932 ) is a German geodesist and emeritus university professor for land management and land development .

After obtaining the diploma , doctorate to Dr.-Ing. and habilitation , Richard Hoisl headed the Chair of Land Management and Land Development at the Technical University of Munich from 1977 until his retirement in 1997 . His successor was Holger Magel .

From 1991 to 1998 Hoisl was chairman of the Deutsche Landeskulturgesellschaft and for four years chairman of commission 2 of the FIG "Professional Education". He is also a member of the Land and Real Estate Management department of the German Geodetic Commission .
