The residential and commercial buildings on Deichstrasse 5 to 8 in Cuxhaven , Deichstrasse , are under the protection of historical monuments in Lower Saxony and are included in the list of architectural monuments in Cuxhaven .

The three-storey plastered buildings with the distinctive loggias on the sides and the different gable shapes were built around 1910 in the more modern style of the buildings after the turn of the century.
Today (2020) the residential and commercial buildings are also used for offices and a café.
The buildings at Deichstrasse 4 , 9 , 10 , 12A , 13a , 20 and 40 are also under monument protection, for No. 12 the monument protection has been lifted.
