Richard Howard Hilton (born August 17, 1955 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American hotel heir, stockbroker and developer of luxury goods.

Life

Hilton is the sixth of eight children of Barron Hilton (1927–2019), the son of hotel founder Conrad Nicholson Hilton , and Marilyn Hawley (1928–2004). He is of German and Norwegian descent on his father's side, German and British on his mother's side. His siblings are William Barron Hilton Junior (* 1948), Hawley Anne Hilton (* 1949), Stephen Michael Hilton (* 1950), David Alan Hilton (* 1952), Sharon Constance Hilton (* 1953), Daniel Kevin Hilton (* 1962 ) and Ronald Jeffrey Hilton (* 1963). His father Barron Hilton's legacy is currently estimated at about $ 1 billion, so each of the siblings is likely to account for about $ 125 million.

Richard Hilton married Kathy Richards on November 24, 1979 and has four children with her: Paris Whitney (* 1981), Nicholai Olivia (* 1983), Barron Nicholas (* 1989) and Conrad Hughes Hilton (* 1994).

In 2005 Richard, Kathy, and their two younger sons moved to a 1930s property in Bel Air, California that they bought for $ 10 million. The family also owns a $ 6.3 million home in the Hamptons , Long Island .
