Richard Jenčík (born January 1, 1985 in Košice , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Košice in the Slovakian extra league since 2003 .

Career

Richard Jenčík began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HC Košice . In the 2002/03 season he made his professional ice hockey debut for HK Trebišov when he prepared a goal in two games in the first division , the second Slovak division. For the 2003/04 season , the winger returned to HC Košice, for whom he has since played in the Extraliga . At the same time, however, he was repeatedly used as a loan player in the 1st division and played there for HC 07 Prešov , HK Trebišov, HKm Humenné and HC 46 Bardejov . In the 2007/08 season he also played four games for the Extraliga participant MHK SkiPark Kežmarok . With HC Košice he won the Slovak championship three times in a row in 2009, 2010 and 2011 .

International

For Slovakia Jenčík took part in the U20 World Junior Championship in 2005 . In six games he prepared two goals.
