Richard Panebianco

Richard Panebianco (born 1971 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor .

Life

Panebianco graduated from Xaverian High School in Brooklyn in 1988 . He made his debut in the drama War in Chinatown (1987) directed by Abel Ferrara , in which he played an Italian boy who falls in love with a Chinese girl. In the film drama Born on July 4th (1989) by Oliver Stone , he starred opposite Tom Cruise . In the comedy Dogfight (1991) he played one of the bigger roles alongside River Phoenix . In the thriller Land of Milk and Honey (1996) he took on the leading role of the New Yorker Sam , who meets the Latina Rosie in a provincial California town , falls in love with her and helps her to reveal a secret. He also starred in some episodes of the television series such as - in 1995 and 1997 - New York Cops - NYPD Blue .
