Richard Rauch

Richard Rauch (born May 28, 1985 in Feldbach , Styria ) is an Austrian chef .

Career

After graduating from higher education and the state vocational school for tourism in Bad Gleichenberg , he completed his training as a chef in his own family business in the restaurant "Steira Wirt", where he has worked as a chef since 2003. Only two years later the restaurant was named "Landlord of the Year" by Christoph Wagner (in the local guide "Where is Austria?"), And in 2006 the first Gault Millau toque followed.

Since 2014 he has been one of the star chefs on the ORF television program Frisch cooked . Since 2017 he has also been a juror in the German ZDF cookery program Die Küchenschlacht .
