Richard Schellenbauer

Richard Schellenbauer (* 1918 ; † July 13, 2009 in Ludwigsburg ) was a German sports official and manager.

Together with Hermann Batz, Schellenbauer was instrumental in rebuilding club sport in the Ludwigsburg district after the Second World War . He was a secretary, social officer, financial expert, deputy chairman and sports badge examiner in the sports group. In addition, he was a cash auditor in the Württemberg State Sports Association , member of the board of his home club SKV Eglosheim, head of the economic committee of SpVgg 07 Ludwigsburg and founder of the medical sports association.

From 1946 to 1981 Schellenbauer was economic manager and deputy director of the hospital in Ludwigsburg. He was also an honorary judge at the labor court for 28 years, a member of the vocational training committee of the IHK and the medical association for twelve years, as an insurance senior at the BfA.

Schellenbauer was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit as well as the highest awards of the state of Baden-Württemberg , the district of Ludwigsburg, various sports associations and clubs, from ÖTV and traffic watch. He was also a longstanding honorary member of the Württemberg State Sports Association, the SKV Eglosheim and the Ludwigsburg sports district.
