Richard Walter

Richard Walter (* July 7, 1844 in Halle an der Saale ; † October 18, 1909 ) was a mill owner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Walter attended the secondary school in Halle ad Saale. He trained as a businessman and then studied chemistry. From 1872 to 1876 he was director of the hall. Sugar boiler in Halle ad Saale. He took part in the war against France in 1870/71 in the Magdeburg Fusilier Regiment No. 36. Since November 1876 he had settled in Thuringia, where he was the owner of a mill in Großheringen .

From 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach 3 ( Jena - Neustadt an der Orla ) and the National Liberal Party .
