Richard Westernacher (politician, 1919)

Richard Westernacher (born December 30, 1919 in Lindheim ; † October 8, 2005 in Altenstadt-Lindheim ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Richard Westernacher did military service and military service after attending elementary school in Lindheim and graduating from high school in 1938 and was taken prisoner of war . After the war he worked as a self-employed farmer and passed his master craftsman examination in 1953.

politics

Westernacher was an SA member.

Richard Westernacher was a member of the state board and the presidium of the CDU Hessen and the federal agricultural committee of the CDU. In local politics he was active as a member of the Büdingen district council .

From December 1, 1958 to November 30, 1970 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. In 1964 he was a member of the 4th and in 1984 the 8th Federal Assembly .

Other offices

Richard Westernacher was a local farmer, second chairman of the district farmers 'association, vice-president since 1959 and president of the Hessian farmers' association from 1970 to 1987 . He was a member of the Association Council of the Ländlichen Genossenschaftsverband Frankfurt am Main and from 1969 President of the Raiffeisen Association Frankfurt. He was also a board member of AOK Büdingen. Ecclesiastically, he was active as a synodal of the Büdingen deanery synod and a member of the regional synod.
