Rick Hart
Rick Hart is an American sound engineer .
Life
Hart began his career in the early 1980s and had his feature film debut in 1988 with the B-movie - action film Operation Warzone . While his main focus was on film, he also worked occasionally for television. For his work on miniseries about the bands The Temptations and The Beach Boys , he was nominated twice for the Primetime Emmy .
In 1993 he was nominated for the Red Alert together with Donald O. Mitchell , Frank A. Montaño and Scott D. Smith for the Oscar in the category Best Sound , but the award this year went to Michael Mann's The Last of the Mohicans . Hart also received the Golden Reel Award in 2000 for the mini-series Train Ride into the Hereafter and in 2001 won the CAS Award from the Cinema Audio Society .
