Ricky Pinheiro (born February 1, 1989 in Kaiserslautern ) is a Portuguese soccer player who has been playing for SV Morlautern since summer 2019 .

Career

Pinheiro came to 1. FC Kaiserslautern at the age of four and went through all the junior teams up to the A-youth. In the 2007/08 season he was used for the first time as a 19-year-old in the second team of the Palatinate in the Oberliga Südwest . Another four appearances as substitutes followed in the same season, which the team finished second in the table and thus qualified for the newly formed Regionalliga West .

In the following season, the attacking midfielder was already part of the second team and scored his first goal for the second on the third matchday. Only a few weeks later, Pinheiro was on the field for the first time in a second division game of the "Red Devils".

In the second half of the 2009/10 season Pinheiro played on loan at VfL Osnabrück . In the first games he was also used there frequently, but in the end of the season he was hardly ever used. That is why VfL decided not to extend the loan and coach Marco Kurz did not consider the returnee for the Kaiserslautern first division squad. Therefore, Pinheiro only trained with the Palatinate regional league team in the 2010/11 season. After his contract expired in the summer of 2011, he was without a club.

At the end of January 2012, Pinheiro was signed by the south-west upper division Borussia Neunkirchen . His contract there was dissolved after only one completed game Pinheiros.

In summer 2012 Ricky Pinheiro moved to KSV Hessen Kassel in the regional league. On August 10, 2012 he made his debut under coach Uwe Wolf in the game against SV Waldhof Mannheim then for KSV. After only one year, the association terminated the contract with one year remaining at the request of Pinheiros.

On July 22, 2013, 1. FC Kaiserslautern announced the commitment of Pinheiro to the amateur team. After 17 games and two goals for the Lauterer Reserve in the first half of the 2013/14 season, the third division club SV Elversberg signed him in January 2014 . With the sports association, he was relegated to the regional league at the end of the season. In the summer of 2015, the regional league team VfR Wormatia Worms signed him. For the 2018/19 season, Pinheiro moved to FK Pirmasens . Pinheiro has been playing for SV Morlautern since July 1, 2019 .
