The Rifugio Cesare Dalmazzi (also Rifugio Cesare Dalmazzi al Triolet ) is a refuge in the Aosta Valley in the Graian Alps . It is located at an altitude of 2589  m in the Val Ferret side valley near the Ghiacciaio del Triolet glacier within the municipality of Courmayeur . The hut is managed from the beginning of June to mid-September and offers 32 mountaineers sleeping places during this time.

Ascent

From Courmayeur, drive towards the Val Ferret side valley. There is a car park at the end of the road at the Arnouvaz district (1769 m).

The entire route from the parking lot at Arnouvaz to the Rifugio Cesare Dalmazzi, which is quite difficult, takes around 2h30.

history

A refuge was built on the same site as early as 1892. The origins of today's hut go back to 1932. This building was expanded in 1980 and has been in the state it is today since a renovation in 2004.

The hut was dedicated to the mountaineer Cesare Dalmazzi.
