Rikke Erhardsen Skov (born September 7, 1980 in Viborg , Denmark ) is a former Danish handball player .

Career

Skov began playing handball at Overlund GF when he was twelve. In 1994 she moved to Viborg HK, where she played until she retired. In the meantime, however, she was loaned to Team Tvis Holstebro for two months . With Viborg, the left back area won the championship ten times (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2014), four times the cup (2003, 2006, 2007 and 2008), twice the EHF Cup ( 1999 and 2004) and the EHF Champions League three times (2006, 2009 and 2010). In addition to her role as a player, Skov is also an assistant coach in Viborg in the 2011/12 season. She ended her career after the 2016/17 season.

Skov played 152 international matches for the Danish women's handball team . With Denmark she won the Olympic gold medal in 2004 . In addition, the right-hander became Vice European Champion in 2004 . In summer 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London . Then she ended her national team career. In 2015 Skov made her comeback in the Danish national jersey. In April 2016 she finally ended her international playing career.

Rikke Skov had a registered partnership with handball player Lotte Kiærskou until October 2011 . She has a daughter with her current partner.
