Rima Baškienė

Rima Baškienė (born October 25, 1960 in Kentriai , Kelmė Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician, has been the vice-president of parliament since November 2016, first deputy of the Seimas chairman, former vice mayor .

Life

From 1974 she lived in Kuršėnai near Šiauliai . After graduation in 1978 at the first middle school Kuršėnai she attended from 1978 to 1983 a diploma studies at politechnikos institutas in Kaunas and was engineer of technology . From 1983 to 1997 she worked at the Plungė linen factory and was an instructor in the Šiauliai district . She then worked as an assistant to Ramūnas Karbauskis , the Seimas member, in the Seimas office . From 2000 to 2004 she was the deputy mayor of the district of Šiauliai, and since 2004 a member of the Seima . Since November 14, 2016, she has been Seimas's first vice-president.
