Rimas Antanas Ručys
Rimas Antanas Ručys (born May 26, 1954 in Balbieriškis , Prienai Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian liberal politician , member of the Seimas .
biography
After graduating from secondary school in 1973, he completed his diploma studies as a sports teacher at Lietuvos kūno kultūros institutas in 1978 . From 1978 to 1981 he worked as a trainer in the sports club " Nemunas " and from 1987 onwards at the SSD club "Žalgiris" in Prienai . In 2008 he was assistant to Valentinas Mazuronis in the Seimas . From 2003 to 2007 he was a member of the council of the Prienai district council and in 2007 of the Kaunas city council . From 2008 to 2012 he was a member of the Seimas , selected in the Vilnius Old Town constituency . He has been a Seimas member again since June 2014, as his party colleague Valentinas Mazuronis was elected to the European Parliament .
He has been a member of Tvarka ir teisingumas since 2002 .
He is married. His wife Aušra is a lawyer. They have daughters Dovilė and Deimantė.
