Rinchen Terdzö ( Tib . : rin chen gter mdzod (chen mo) ; "(Great) treasure of rediscovered teachings") is the most important and extensive collection of Tibetan terma literature. It is one of the works of Jamgön Kongtrül Lodrö Thaye (1813–1899) known as the “five great treasures” (Tib .: mdzod chen lnga ).

The Rinchen Terdzö mainly contains termas from the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism from masters such as Padmasambhava , Vimalamitra and Vairotsana and their most trusted students. It includes the Terma traditions of Choggyur Lingpa (1829–1870), Jamgön Kongtrül Lodrö Thayes (1813–1899) and Jamyang Khyentse Wangpos (1820–1893) as well as numerous different ancient Terma traditions that are threatened with extinction three great Eastern Tibetan lamas . In addition, the Rinchen Terdzö also contains teachings of the Bön and the Kama tradition (Tib .: bka'-ma ).

The first printing of Rinchen Terdzö began in 1875 in the Eastern Tibetan monastery of Pelpung and comprised 60 or 61 volumes. The second printing, now fully bibliographically accessible through the catalogs of the Berlin State Library, was carried out by the 15th Karmapa Khakhyab Dorje (1871–1922) in the Tshurphu Monastery with 63 volumes. In 1976 Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche had another edition of the Rinchen Terdzö printed in Paro , Bhutan , comprising 111 volumes. It is based on the Tshurphu edition, but has been expanded to include additional texts from the Pelpung version and additional texts that are considered necessary in practice.
