Ring Knutstorp
The Ring Knutstorp is a permanent motor racing circuit about two kilometers southeast of Kågeröd in southern Sweden Province Skåne County (Skåne / Skåne) . The circuit was built in 1963 and expanded in 1970 and approved by the FIA as a Category 2 track. The track with a length of around 2100 meters, with 14 curves and natural grandstands was the venue for the European Formula 3 Championship and the follow-up series, the European Formula 3 Cup . Until 2010, the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) and races for the Danish Touring Car Championship were held on the ring . In 2011 the two series were combined to form the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship .
To the east of the racetrack there is a driving safety and traffic training facility. The operator is AB Motorbanan Ring Knutstorp.
Since 2012 there has been a school and workshop building on the track, where chassis technicians and race engineers are trained.
