Oceania Wrestling Championships
Oceania Wrestling Championships are continental wrestling championships for participants from oceanic countries, including Australia and New Zealand. Oceania Freestyle Championships were held for the first time in 1986. The first tournament for women took place in 1995. A year later there was also a tournament in the Greco-Roman style for the first time.
Due to the often small number of participants, the weight classes were often designed differently or omitted entirely.
Since 2010 the championships have been held together with the championships for cadets and juniors as well as the championships in beach wrestling and other types of wrestling such as grappling.
