course

The road is divided into four sections:

Northern ring road

The northern ring road begins approximately at the level of the north station and runs along the glacis to the Neuburger Strasse intersection . In the entire section it is part of the federal highway 13 , which then continues on the Neuburger Straße in the direction of Würzburg .

Western ring road

The Glacis Bridge as seen from the south bank

From Neuburger Strasse to the Danube , it continues as the western ring road on the Glacis. The Glacis Bridge is located at the end of the western ring road .

Southern ring road

South of the Danube, the southern ring road runs from the intersection of Münchener Strasse as federal road 16a . The Saturn Arena is opposite the Manchinger Strasse intersection . At the other end of the southern ring road it leads back over the Danube on the Schiller Bridge.

Eastern ring road

Since Schillerstraße is on the northern side, it means that the Ringstraße is not completely closed. The eastern ring road is a dead end street at the eastern end of the northern ring road and is therefore far less important in terms of traffic than the rest of the ring roads.
