Rio Nobile
Rio Nobile was a native of Desiderio Nobile (born May 12, 1897 in Berlin ; † spring 1961 ) was an Italian-German actor .
Life
The merchant's son Desiderio "Rio" Nobile, son of Italian immigrants and since 1915, the year Italy entered the war against Germany, a German citizen, received a commercial training in Munich after graduating from secondary school .
In 1919 Rio Nobile went to film and still played a few supporting and occasional leading roles during the silent film era. With the end of the sound film era, he moved for two years (1930–32) as a general representative of the Ansaldo works in Genoa and from the end of 1932 worked in film sales. Nevertheless, Rio Nobile still appeared in front of the camera from time to time during the sound film era, especially between 1934 and 1936.
In 1937 he moved to Italy, where he worked as an actor and broadcaster. After the end of the Second World War, Rio Nobile did not return to Germany until 1955, for a tiny film role in Hamburg .
