Ripe is a place in the municipality of Trecastelli and was an Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Ancona in Marche until 2014 . Ripe is 143 mslm about 32.5 kilometers west-north-west of Ancona on the Nevola , which flows into the Misa at Ripe .

On January 1, 2014, Ripe merged with the municipalities of Castel Colonna and Monterado to form the new municipality of Trecastelli . On December 31, 2013, the municipality had 4413 inhabitants on 15 km². Neighboring communities were Castel Colonna , Corinaldo , Ostra and Senigallia . The fractions Brugnetto, Passo di Ripe and Ponte Lucerta belonged to the municipality .
