The Rispige Eisenhut or Rispen-Eisenhut ( Aconitum degenii subsp. Paniculatum ) is a subspecies of the plant species Degen Monkshood ( Aconitum degenii ) from the genus Monkshood ( Aconitum ) in the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae). It occurs in Austria , southern Germany , Switzerland , northwestern former Yugoslavia , northern Italy and southeastern France .

The panis monkshood grows as a deciduous, perennial herbaceous plant and reaches heights of 40 to 300 cm. The upright or overhanging stem is widely branched. The upper stem parts are the sticky, downy-glandular hairy. The alternate on the stem arranged distributed leaves have at hand a significant Netznervatur.

The flowering period extends from July to September. The prophylls are linear. The flower stalks are hairy protruding glandular. The zygomorphic flowers are blue-violet and hairy on the back. The helmet is at most as high as it is wide. The curved nectaries reach the top of the helmet and the stem of the nectar leaves is curved. The seeds are brown.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 16 or 32.

Occurrence

For the Rispen-Eisenhut localities are given in Austria , in southern Germany , in Switzerland , in northwestern former Yugoslavia , northern Italy and southeastern France . The Rispen-Eisenhut can be found in gorges and gray alder forests of subalpine tall herbaceous meadows. It thrives in societies of the associations Fagion, Tilio-Acerion, Adenostylion or in the Alnetum incanae of the Alno-Ulmion association.

Systematics

The panicle monkshood was named Aconitum cammarum subsp. paniculatum first published by Giovanni Arcangeli . The name Aconitum degenii subsp. paniculatum got it through Walter Mucher in Phyton. Annales Rei Botanicae , 33 (1), 1993, p. 58. Other synonyms for Aconitum degenii Gáyer subsp. paniculatum (Arcang.) Mucher are: Aconitum paniculatum auct. and Aconitum variegatum subsp. paniculatum (Arcang.) Greuter & Burdet .
