Rita Schweiger

Rita Schweiger (born May 6, 1943 in Moosburg an der Isar ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

Schweiger attended the elementary school in Nandlstadt and the secondary school in Moosburg, then did a three-year training in rural housekeeping and the master's examination. She attended the country folk high school and was a trainer. In 1965 she became a partner in a farm.

In 1972 Schweiger became a member of the CSU. She was district and district chairman of the women's union and secretary in the CSU district executive. From 1972 she was a member of the district assembly , from 1982 to 2003 she was a member of the Bavarian state assembly .

Schweiger was awarded the Communal Merit Medal , the Bavarian Order of Merit , the Silver Honor VLF, the Silver Badge of the Traffic Guard and the Constitutional Medal in silver .
