Ritha Elmholt

Ritha Elmholt (* 1947 in Eckernförde , Schleswig-Holstein; born Roswitha Ceglars ) is a German-Danish painter and author.

Life

Elmholt made a Danish real exam and completed a commercial apprenticeship. This was followed by a further school visit in Skive . In 1970 she got a job at the Sparkasse in Kiel . In 1978–1982 she took free painting at the Muthesius Art Academy in Kiel with Harald Duwe , Gottfried Brockmann and Ekkehard Thieme.

From 2000 to 2002 she lived alternately in Eckernförde and Columbus (Ohio) , where she studied at CSC College. She lives in Schleswig-Holstein .

Elmholt also writes short stories in the yearbook of the Heimatverein Eckernförde, in the Eckernförde reading book 2002, in the Mohland yearbook 2005, 2006 and 2007 and the Christmas anthology 2007: Christmas stories for adults .

Her first book, Morgengedeck , came out in 2004.
